About Hope Warshaw, MMSc, RD, CDE, BC-ADM
Hope Warshaw is a nationally recognized dietitian/nutritionist and diabetes educator and owner of Hope Warshaw Associationes, LLC where she incorporates nearly 40 years of experience as an author, writer, media spokesperson, consultant, and diabetes educator.
Hope is known for her expertise in diabetes care, nutrition and weight management, and healthy restaurant eating. She offers practical solutions for wellness to the individuals she counsels and thousands more that she connects with through networking platforms and on social media.
As a freelance writer, Hope has written several award-winning, best-selling books and resources published by the American Diabetes Association (ADA) including Diabetes Meal Planning Made Easy and Eat Out Eat Well–The Guide to Eating Healthy in Any Restaurant and wrote the nutrition Q&A column for The Washington Post for several years.
She is also the co-author of several books for healthcare professionals published by the ADA and a sought-after speaker who regularly presents at association meetings and nutrition and diabetes symposiums.
Honored to serve on the AADE’s Board of Directors from 2011-2013, Hope was president of the group in 2016. In June 2018 she joined the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Foundation Board for a three-year term.
